April is the Month of the Military Child! Purple is the official color because it is a combination of all the colors of the U.S. Armed Forces which includes Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, Army and Marine Corps. Programs and Activities that are similar across all of the Branches of Service are called "Purple". All of the staff at North Layton Junior High will be wearing Purple on Fridays to salute these amazing students. This Month we are excited to recognize and celebrate the resilience and sacrifices that all of our military connected children have to make on a daily basis. If you would like to join in on the celebration, attached is a schedule of all the events we have going on around our school for the Month of the Military Child.

Congratulations to our Davis Academic League Semi Final Winners! They are headed to Finals on Wednesday, March 19th. We are so proud of their accomplishments and can't wait to see how they do.

The Davis Academic League (DAL) is having their Semi Final Competition tonight at North Layton Junior High starting at 3:15pm. We are wishing them good luck tonight and will definitely be rooting for their success!

This week our staff have been involved in a Secret Spirit Week. You may have noticed all the staff wearing a different theme every day which included NLJH gear, mismatched clothes, funky socks with sandals, drinking out of anything other than a cup and everyone wearing all black. It was a fun week of confusing all the kids and making them question our decisions!
